You may have noticed on our news page that we recently launched a new food nutrition database. It currently searches through the UK and US Department of Agriculture databases and we are working on adding some more (first in the pipeline is the Canadian database). However, we are really interested in hearing your feedback on it and what you like, what you want improving or changing and any new features that would make it more useful. Also, if there are any other national databases you would like us to include please post it on the comments below and we will do our best to include them.
If you haven't tried it yet, take a look at http://www.gymnag.com/food-database.aspx and let us know what you think! Thanks!

We've now updated the database to include the Canadian (both French and English names) and Irish national food composition data.

As you may have read on our news page, the food database now contains nutrient composition information for foods from India and Bangladesh. However, we want more! Please send us photos or scanned images of the food packaging (that way we know it's genuine and official data) to our support email address at support[at]gymnag.com and we'll get it added to the database.
The database currently has over 18,000 food items, but we'd love to grow it further and include more branded items, particularly supermarket or other less well known brands plus any food items that are specific to certain regions only.
Thanks in advance for your help and submissions
