Just a little note as I was amazed at the weekend when I went out for a meal, and there was a salad bar where you could help yourself. It really amazed me the number of people who went there, saying how healthy they are eating salad (it will then make up for the big steak and ice cream later) but failed to realise that the coleslaw, the thick creamy dressing they cover the salad in is loaded with calories, probably more than the ice cream they'll have for desert. Be warned, dressings are full of calories...if you don't believe me check the nutrional information on prepared salads in your local supermarket - you'll be surprised (don't fall for the trick they often do of putting half the packet's nutrition, when in reality you'll eat the whole lot).
Just my 2p.

What i started noticing on some prepacked pasta type salads is that they are putting on a tablespoons worth of nutritional information. Not only misleading but not very user friendly either.

I agree. It should be based on the portion size, and the pre-packed salads are pretty much intended for one person. What do they expect us to do, count the spoons of salad as we eat it to then work out when we should stop!
