Anyone got any tips for treating bruised bones, like shins? I want to try to speed up the recovery if possible.....and not get a lump which sometimes happens to me!

Try massaging a lumpy shin with ice, that might help.

That didn't help, in fact hurt as the bruise is sensitive.

try just holding the ice on the bruise lightly altghough rubbing it though can smooth it out if you can feel a lump forming.

I've not found anything other than try to make sure you don't knock it but keep up gentle exercise to keep the blood flowing to aid the repair of it.
