Don't just think of weight loss as a matter of success or failure with nothing in between. If you lose a few pounds but then put a pound back on after a bad day, don't despair and give up. Get back to your healthy lifestyle and carry on. It might take a bit longer to get where you want than you were hoping or intending, but your still on the right track. You've still lost weight and your still healthier than you were.

V true, its all about the long term trend and the odd b inge now and again isn't going to hurt

I agree, personally i like to weigh in every day which means I can fluctuate a lot even as much as a couple of pounds but checking back the week or so earlier shows my trend, good or bad.

Something i've discovered that works well for me is to drink herbal tea's instead of soft drinks. No milk just flavoured water!!
