The following are healthy foods that you can consume (in the right proportions as part of a healthy diet) to help you gain muscle:

  • Skinless chicken
  • Turkey
  • Fish: Tuna, Mackerel, Sardines, Trout, Salmon, Cod, Pollack, Prawns
  • Nuts and seeds
  • Oats
  • Wholegrain rice
  • Wholegrain foods (eg. wholemeal bread, pasta)
  • Beans
  • Couscous

I find eggs are excellent.I believe they are reckoned to be the best quality protein after Whey?

What about meat? Obviusly not to much b ut lots of protein there.

lean red meat is good in moderation and has lots of iron nutrients also.
